Buddy Investor is a product of Good Stack Enterprise. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you use Buddy Investor.

Buddy Investor is a standalone brand offering educational investing tools, resources, and content. Our offerings include an Investor Personality Test, ROI Calculators, Stock and ETF Analysis tools, a Stock News Digest, a Money IQ learning game, digital products (Investing Guidebook and Investment Checklist), and free beginner sessions — all designed to help everyday people make smarter financial decisions. At present, every tool and feature on Buddy Investor is available completely free of charge; you only need to create a free account. A premium subscription may be introduced in the future, in which case this policy will be updated accordingly.

2. Information We Collect

We collect only the information necessary to provide and improve our services:

Registration details: When you create an account, we store your name and email address to authenticate you and manage your access.
Quiz and tool responses: Answers you provide during the Investor Personality Test or when using our calculators and analysis tools. These are used to generate your results and improve your experience.
Session booking details: If you request a free beginner session, we collect your name, email, WhatsApp number, country, preferred date and times, and number of participants to coordinate the session.
Subscription verification: Subscription verification is not currently enforced. When a premium subscription is active, we would receive only essential information (such as your email and subscription status) from Gumroad to verify your purchase and enable access to subscriber-only features. We do not receive or store your payment card details.
Website interaction data: Basic analytics on how you use Buddy Investor (e.g., pages visited, features used) to help us improve the experience.

We never store passwords or payment details on our databases.

All purchases on Buddy Investor — including subscriptions, digital guidebooks, and checklists — are processed through Gumroad, a third-party payment platform. When you make a purchase, you are redirected to Gumroad's checkout, which is governed by Gumroad's own terms and privacy policy.

We do not process, handle, or store any payment card details. All payment information is collected and processed entirely by Gumroad on their platform. We have access only to essential transaction information (such as purchase status and purchaser email) on the Gumroad platform itself, and we do not store any of that transaction data on the Buddy Investor database. We pull only the minimum information needed to verify that a user has an active subscription and to ensure smooth website access.

5. Email Communications

When you register, join our email list, download a free resource, or request a session, you may receive emails from us including welcome messages, results, product updates, and educational content. You can unsubscribe from marketing communications at any time via the unsubscribe link in any email or through your account settings.

Transactional emails (such as account verification or booking confirmations) are necessary for the service and are not marketing communications.

Passwords: Authentication is handled securely by our platform provider. We never store plain-text passwords.
Payment or card details: All payment processing is handled by Gumroad. We never see, handle, or store your card information.
Gumroad transaction data: Transaction details remain on the Gumroad platform. We do not copy or store transaction records in our database — we only reference subscription status to enable access.
